Jaipur court asks SOG to probe the role of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in ‘Credit Society Scam’
The petitioners said Shekhawat was a partner in the property business of Vikram Singh, the managing director of Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society. However, Shekhawat had quit Singh’s business much before the scam broke last year.

This comes amid high political drama, a day after ED raided chief minister Ashok Gehlot's brother in connection with an alleged scam in exporting fertiliser.
The petitioners said Shekhawat was a partner in the property business of Vikram Singh, the managing director of Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society. However, Shekhawat had quit Singh’s business much before the scam broke last year.
“Petitioners have alleged that a large amount of money was transferred to accounts of Shekhawat and his family,” said one of the complainants.
Additional district & sessions judge Pawan Kumar directed an additional chief metropolitan magistrate’s court to send the complaint against Shekhawat to the SOG.
“Shekhawat’s name was not there in the chargesheet. Later on, a magistrate court also turned down a petition urging inclusion of Shekhawat’s name in the chargesheet. Finally, petitioners approached the office of additional district court,” said a police officer.
The SOG has already sent a notice to Shekhawat while probing some audio tapes containing conversations about horse-trading of MLAs. Shekhawat has claimed that the tapes are fabricated and there is no authenticity in the charges. But CM Gehlot said the audio tapes are authentic and can be sent abroad for forensic tests.
