CPI(M) leader Gautam Deb continues to be critical
Deb, was yesterday found H1N1 positive after he was admitted with high fever and severe respiratory distress.

KOLKATA: Senior CPI(M) leader Gautam Deb's condition today remained critical but stable after he was tested positive for swine flu.
Stating this, doctors attending him at AMRI Hospital, Salt Lake, said he was kept in ICCU isolation and has been extubated.
The 61-year-old leader is however said to be alert, responsive and communicating.
Deb, a member of the party's Central Committee, was yesterday found H1N1 positive after he was admitted with high fever and severe respiratory distress.
A six-membered medical board has been formed to treat him in the hospital.
