CPI(M) cautions people of communal forces ahead of Jammu and Kashmir polls

SRINAGAR: Cautioning people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain vigilant against any "mischief" ahead of upcoming Assembly elections, state unit of CPI(M) today said any move aimed at communal polarisation is fraught with dangerous consequences for the entire region.

"The people must remain cautious about the nefarious designs of the communal forces who are hell bent to put the state on fire for their narrow electoral considerations," CPI(M) state secretary M Y Tarigami said in a statement here.

Hitting out at BJP, Tarigami said it is a party which has never subscribed to the concept of state's autonomy.
