CPI(M) asks AAP to fulfill promises made to people
JAMMU: Terming the ongoing tussle in the Aam Aadmi Party an internal affair of the party, the CPI(M) today said the rift should not affect the welfare of the people of Delhi who had voted the party to power.

"People in Delhi had voted AAP with love and lots of expectations. They want the promises to be fulfilled, but the party is now engaged in internal rift.

"The ongoing tussle is the internal affair of the party and they must resolve it so that the people of Delhi don't have to suffer," CPI(M) politburo member and Rajya Sabha MP Sitaram Yechury told reporters in Jammu.

Dissident AAP founding members Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav were today removed from its National Executive for anti-party activities, through a resolution passed at the National Council with 247 members supporting it.

Their supporters Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha were also removed from the powerful panel as Yadav and Bhushan accused party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of using unfair means including bringing goons at the meeting who allegedly beat up a number of National Council members opposed to the resolution.
