CPI-M to raise TN flood relief aid in Parliament
Yechury said, "Tomorrow when we return to Parliament, on behalf of CPI-M, we will take up the matter with the Central government and with ministers concerned."

After visiting rain-ravaged parts of Chennai and its neighbouring areas, Yechury said, "Tomorrow when we return to Parliament, on behalf of CPI-M, we will take up the matter with the Central government and with ministers concerned.
Noting that his party had earlier raised the issue in Parliament, he said, "We will again raise the matter saying adequate central assistance must be provided."
"The priority here is not politics. The priority here is to help (mitigate) human suffering," he said.
Several areas in Chennai were inundated due to torrential rains in the first week of December.
The state government recently said 347 persons have lost their lives in rain-related incidents since October.
