BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa undertook a quick tour of Bengaluru city to see for himself how well people were respecting the lock down regulations.

During the tour, he interacted with police, members of public and flower and fruit and vegetable sellers. He also explained to them why his government had enforced lock-down, and the broad dos and don'ts they must keep in mind to combat the spread of covid-19.

The government has announced continued lockdown till the end of April but will begin gradual easing from Arpil 15 allowing industries and others to resume limited activity with adherence to social distancing.
