Covid-19 cases plunge further in Tamil Nadu
The number of Covid-19 deaths continued to remain at 9 on Monday, the second day in a row. This takes the death toll to 11,712 in the State.

Tamil Nadu has been showing a steady decline in cases in the last few months, providing a lot of relief as it has been among the worst-affected in the country.
Chennai's cases continued to remain under the 400 mark and the state capital reported a further decrease with 385 people testing positive on Monday as opposed to 398 on Sunday.
As many as 1456 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total discharges to 759,206
Testing, however, went down from 66,655 on Sunday to 62,131 on Monday. The State touched record levels of testing when over 93,000 people were tested on a single day in October.
