Covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu remain flat at 1,235 cases

CHENNAI: In keeping with the recent pattern, the number of Covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu remained relatively flat at 1235 cases on Friday taking the total tally of cases in the State stands t0 796,475, the state media bulletin confirmed.

The number of deaths in Tamil Nadu too remained at 17 for the second day in a row, taking the total number of deaths in the State to 11,870.

Chennai's cases went down further from 313 on Thursday to 307 on Friday.


The number of discharges stood at 1311 on Friday, taking the total discharges to 774,306.

Testing went up from 68,494 people on Thursday to 69,999 on Friday.
