Court to hear bail plea of Krishna on September 12 in Aarushi's case
A court in Ghaziabad will hear on September 12 the bail plea of Krishna, the compounder of dentist Rajesh Talwar and an accused in Aarushi murder case.
As per law, an investigating agency has to file a chargesheet against an accused within 90 days of his arrest, which in Krishna's case ends on September 13.
Krishna was arrested on June 13 in connection with the May 15 murder of Talwar's teenaged daughter Aaarushi and their domestic help Hemraj.
Another accused Vijay Mandal has already been released on bail. The bail application of third accused Rajkumar is also likely to come up before a special court in Ghaziabad.
Virtually admitting lack of evidence, the CBI has said it would be unable to file a chargesheet within the stipulated time as investigations have not yet been completed.
Earlier on Tuesday, the bail application of Rajkumar, domestic help of Durrani's, friends of the Talwar family, was rejected by the Ghaziabad court since CBI said vital evidence needs to be collected and he could tamper with the same if released on bail. His bail application will also come up for hearing on Friday.
