Court frames charges against former Delhi HC judge, others
A court on Saturday framed charges against former Delhi High Court judge Shameet Mukherjee and four others, including ex-DDA Vice Chairman Subhash Sharma, in a DDA land scam case.

NEW DELHI: A court on Saturday framed charges against former Delhi High Court judge Shameet Mukherjee and four others, including ex-DDA Vice Chairman Subhash Sharma, in a DDA land scam case.
Additional Sessions Judge I K Kochhar framed charges against Mukherjee, Sharma, and three others under a provision of the IPC dealing with criminal conspiracy and various others of the Prevention of Corruption Act for allegedly taking undue benefits.
Besides Mukherjee and Sharma, personal secretary to former DDA V-C Ashok Kapoor, sacked Delhi Police constable Vinod Khatri and alleged middleman Dharambir Khattar were ordered to be present in court for recording the prosecution evidence on May 26.
The former judge is in the dock for allegedly giving an order favouring a co-accused, who had allegedly encroached DDA land and was involved in a legal battle with the land-owning agency.
