Court fixes Jan 3 as the next date of hearing in Babri case

RAE BARELI: The special CBI court hearing Babri mosque demolition case today fixed January 3 as the next date of hearing in the matter.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (Fourth) Vishnu Prasad Agarwal posted the hearing for January 3 after key witness in the case, IPS officer, Anju Gupta's counsel moved an application submitting that she was indisposed.

Gupta, who was deployed as security officer with BJP leader L K Advani at the time of demolition of the Babri mosque, had on November 11 appeared in person before the court for cross examination.
