Country would slip into the hands of communal forces if Narendra Modi became the prime minister: Mayawati
BSP supremo Mayawati cautioned the voters that if Narendra Modi became the prime minister, the country would slip into the hands of communal forces.

"It's important that Dalits and Muslims should vote for BSP in these elections. If BJP leader Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister, the country will go in hands of communal forces," she told election meetings. "If you all want to see 'Dalit ki beti' as the prime minister you all should vote for BSP so that it could emerge as 'balance of power' at the Centre after polls," she said.
Maintaining that there is no rule of law in Uttar Pradesh now unlike during the BSP regime, she said goons and mafia were calling the shots in the state at present. She ridiculed the Akhilesh Yadav government, saying there was one rule and that was "rule of corruption".
Mayawati said a number of cases of abduction and riots had taken place in the state ever since SP came to power in 2012. Attacking Congress, she alleged that due to its wrong policies, corruption and inflation were at the peak. She assured the voters that welfare of all sections of the society would be ensured if BSP came to power. BSP is going it alone in all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
