Corporate sector more sensitive towards poverty issue: Minister
Singh was addressing a function - Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Kaushal Yozana (DDU-GKY), organised by the Union Rural Development Ministry and the Jharkhand government and the CII being the lead industry partner.

"...Today I saw their body language and found them to be sensitive for the under-privileged people. The speakers (from the industry) appeared sincere to do something for Jharkhand and the country," the Union Rural Development Minister said here.
Singh was addressing a function - Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Kaushal Yozana (DDU-GKY), organised by the Union Rural Development Ministry and the Jharkhand government and the CII being the lead industry partner.
"It (sensitiveness) is a big thing)," Singh said. The function was attended by Biren Ramesh Bhuta, Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility - TATA Steel, B V M Rao, Group Head - Human Resources, Shoppers Stop Limited, Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director Vice-Chairman and CEO Narayana Health, Avijit Ghosh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director Heavy Engineering Corporation, among others.
In their speeches, all of them pledged their bit to poverty eradication programmes under Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pledge to empowering India and powering the world through skill training.
