Cop takes baby to work, social media cheers
"I wish I could get a transfer to Agra so that I could be with my family and raise both my daughters along with carrying on my work," said Archana Singh.

As Archana (30), did her duty at the reception, a photo of her six-month-old daughter sleeping on the table as she continued with her work had gone viral on social media. It was tweeted by a few senior police officers and also posted on other social media platforms.
Archana, who belongs to Agra and has been posted in Jhansi since 2016, has no option but to get her daughter to work as her husband lives in Gurgaon and works for a private firm. Her elder daughter, 11, lives with Archana's parents in Kanpur. She has been given the duty of working at the reception of the police station."Incredible. Doesn't need any caption," wrote UP Police inspector-general of police-rank officer Navniet Sekera.
"She is sincere and dedicated to her work," said Kotwali SO Umesh Chandra Tripathi. DIG, Jhansi range, Shubhash Singh Bhagel has even given her a cash reward of Rs 1,000.
"My seniors have been very helpful. Often, my daughter begins wailing while I am at work. My colleagues then take care of her," said Archana.
