Controversy hits JNU again, students fined for cooking biryani near administrative block
In a bizarre incident, Jawaharlal Nehru Univ students fined for cooking biryani near the Administrative block of the university premises. In a statement issued by the JNU it is clarified that a Rs 6000 fine was imposed on a student for cooking Biryani near the stairs in front of Administrative building on 27th June, and eating it thereafter along with other students.
