Mumbai: Aaditya Thackeray on Monday officially announced that he would contest the assembly polls. “By your blessings and your permission, I will contest the forthcoming assembly polls.

While I will contest the assembly polls from Worli, we need to spread the work across the state.”

The Shiv Sena has been projecting Aaditya as a CM candidate much before the polls.

Minutes after Aaditya’s announcement, Sena MP Sanjay Raut said, ‘the Sena will soon have Aaditya sitting in the 6th floor of Mantralaya.

This is from where you have to run the state’.

On Monday after his announcement of fighting the polls, Aaditya said, “Iam not running to achieve my dream, I am not doing this for becoming a MLA, a minister or to become a Chief Minister. I want Maharashtra to become prosperous, to become debt and pollution free.”
