Contest bypoll in Kanyakumari, Karti tells Priyanka Vadra

Even as Congress Lok Sabha member Karti Chidambaram on Friday renewed his appeal to the Tamil Nadu Congress election committee to propose AICC general secretary Priyanka Vadra's candidature to contest from the Lok Sabha bypoll from Kanyakumari, the PCCs of Kerala and Tamil Nadu have decided to invite Vadra too for campaign for the upcoming polls. She last week campaigned in Assam.

While the Congress circles are sceptical about Vadra too shifting to South to fight LS polls ( (unless she is personally keen to get a Parliament birth for herself), specially since she is in-charge of party's poll preparation for next year's UP polls an Rahul Gandhi is also representing Parliament from South.
