Conspiracies being hatched against SP: Mulayam Singh Yadav
LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh today alleged that "conspiracies" were being hatched against his party and exhorted the partymen to gear up for 2017 Assembly election in the state and try to win maximum seats.

"Assembly polls in the state are not far away. Conspiracies are being hatched against SP outside the state also. UP is the biggest state and we all should gear up for 2017 polls and win maximum seats," Yadav said while addressing party workers here at the party headquarters here.

"In the present scenario, there is no alternative in the country except for Samajwad (socialism). We have to act differently from other parties. After winning maximum number of seats in 2017 Assembly election, we can also ensure victory of more MPs in Lok Sabha polls. We have to emphasise on strengthening our organisation," he added.

Sharpening his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yadav accused him of failing to fulfil promises made by him and claimed that on the contrary the SP government in the state has won the hearts of the people by fulfilling all its promises.

"The USP of SP is that it does what it says and people of the state know it," he added.
