Cong's primaries: Jagdish Tytler files nomination from Northeast Delhi
Former MP Jagdish Tytler today filed his nomination for Northeast Lok Sabha seat under primaries project.

The constituency, being represented by Jai Prakash Agarwal, today witnessed two other nominations-- that of Agarwal and Rajesh Lalotia, an former MLA from Patel Nagar.
"Party leaders Jagdish Tytler, Jai Prakash Agarwal and Rajesh Lolotia today filed their nominations for Northeast Lok Sabha seat under primaries project, an experiment by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 6. Subsequently, the voting will be held on March 11 for this seat," Pradeep Sharma, in-charge for project said.
Sharma said that there are around 360 voters who will be exercising their franchises on March 11. For New Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency, Ajay Maken is set to become the candidate as no other leader had filed nominations against him.
After filing his nomination, Tytler issued a statement stating that: "I request the entire media fraternity to not to fall in the trap of a few politically motivated people to use 1984 riots as means of political self uplift."
