Congress workers force restaurant to shut down in Central Mumbai

Gujarat CM Narendra Modi on Tuesday termed the forceful shutdown of an eatery in Central Mumbai as an act of 'intolerance'.

Reacting to the issue, Modi tweeted: "Height of intolerance." Youth Congress workers forced a restaurant to shut down in Central Mumbai on Monday night after its owner printed bills with a note criticizing the UPA government for increase in taxes as well as for the various scams like Coalgate and 2G.

After Modi's tweet, the Maharashtra Congress went on the back foot, claiming that party activists merely held demonstrations and did not force it to shut down.
