Congress will gain more seats than NCP: Gopinath Munde
Congress will be a beneficiary in the pre-poll alliance with NCP in Maharashtra and is likely to gain more seats as compared to NCP in ratio, BJP national general secretary Gopinath Munde said.
Commenting on the flip flop of NCP chief Sharad Pawar who first himself appeared to a claimant for Prime Ministerial post and later dragged his feet, Munde said that Pawar is a clever politicians and takes calculated risks and his party was fighting 40 seats outside Maharashtra but this time he (Pawar) has certainly erred which will prove costly to him.
He said NCP was fighting 40 seats outside Maharashtra but this time Pawar has certainly erred which will prove costly to him.
His moves were suspicious and that sent signals to Congress to restrict the alliance to Maharashtra only and that is why Congress state poll campaign chief and former Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh was against any pre-poll truck with NCP, he said.
On the BJP-SS front in state, Munde said the saffron combine will get more than 30 seats and both parties will have equal share.
