Congress Vs BJP over Rafale puja

NEW DELHI: Congress and BJP engaged in a war of words over Rajnath Singh performing ‘shastra puja’ on a Rafale jet. After his reported comments terming ‘shastra puja’ as “tamasha” (theatrics) drew sharp responses, Congress’ Mallikarjuna Kharge said he was not referring to the ‘puja’. “I only said in Rafale and other technical matters, it is the Air Force and Army that deal with it and why are politicians getting involved,” he said. Citing Kharge’s reported remarks, BJP chief Amit Shah said: “For a party used to worshipping Quattrocchi, shastra puja is naturally a problem.”
