Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi to felicitate teachers in Amethi on Teachers' Day

AMETHI: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will felicitate teachers of a school here on Teachers' Day during his two day visit to his constituency Amethi.

The Congress MP, who will land at the Amausi airport in Lucknow tomorrow, will drive to villages in Tiloi segment of Amethi, Congress sources said.

He will visit the family of veteran freedom fighter Rajaram who died last week and offer condolences to the kin.

Later, he would hold a meeting of the party's district unit at the Munshiganj guesthouse.

On the second day, after meeting people of his constituency in the morning, Rahul will felicitate teachers of A H Inter College in Musafirkhana to mark Teachers' Day, before returning to Delhi, the sources said.
