Congress took to streets to protest against Sumitra Mahajan over MPs suspension
A few protesters received minor injuries when police used water cannons to disperse the crowd and in the ensuing scuffle.

Accusing Mahajan of "misusing" her position, scores of activists of the party's youth wing, led by its president Amrinder Raja Brar, marched towards the Speaker's official residence at Akbar Road but were detained by police.
A few protesters received minor injuries when police used water cannons to disperse the crowd and in the ensuing scuffle.
Addressing the protesters, Brar said the party would corner the BJP both within and outside Parliament. "Our legislators were unconstitutionally suspended for their rightful demands," he said.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks of democracy. Is this his version of democracy? Suspension for demanding the removal of tainted ministers?" a protester asked.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Delhi Congress workers, led by its chief Ajay Maken, gathered at Jantar Mantar over the same issue and tried to march towards Parliament House.
"If the government wants smooth functioning of Parliament then it should ensure that all the corrupt ministers resign. Suspension of our MPs amounts to murder of politics," Maken said.
