Congress to stage protest against Agnipath policy

Congress will stage protests against the Agnipath military recruitment policy in every assembly segment across the country on Monday. The principal opposition party held press conferences in 20 cities on Sunday and demanded that the controversial scheme be immediately withdrawn.

Addressing mediapersons in the capital, senior Gujarat Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil said: “Congress is standing in solidarity with the youth of this country. We will be staging protests in every assembly segment of each state on Monday to demand that the Modi government withdraw this scheme.”
