Congress to stage dharna against UP government on November 21

LUCKNOW: Congress today said it would stage a dharna here on November 21 against the Uttar Pradesh government's failure to hike minimum support price of sugarcane and non-payment of cane dues.

Congressmen led by UPCC president Nirmal Khatri would stage a dharna at the GPO park on November 21, state Congress committee spokesman Ashok Singh said.

The party would also protest against the delay in starting of crushing season by state sugar mills, he added.
