Congress to issue show cause notice to Ravi Naik for anti-PM remark
"The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President (John Fernandes) will issue the show cause notice to Naik on his comments against the outgoing Prime Minister," Goa Congress' spokesman Durgadas Kamat told reporters.

"The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President ( John Fernandes) will issue the show cause notice to Naik on his comments against the outgoing Prime Minister," Goa Congress' spokesman Durgadas Kamat told reporters here today.
"Dr Singh headed the government for last ten years. Naik has no right to comment on such a person," Kamat said.
Naik during a press conference last week had accused Singh for the poll debacle.
He had commented that Singh had failed to reach out to the masses with the developmental works taken by UPA government in the last decade.
The party has also accused Naik for "not fighting the election whole-heartedly.
"We have a question to be answered by Naik. Why did he refrain from attending election meetings in Taleigao, St Cruz and Mapusa constituencies ?," Kamat questioned.
The party has also taken strong objection to the press statement by social organization - Ponda Vikas Samiti (PVS), which had blasted Congress' Goa President John Fernandes for the poor show during the LS polls.
"PVS should clarify whether the statement was at the behest of Ravi Naik," Kamat said pointing out that those from PVS who addressed media are close aide of Naik.
The Congress had lost both the Goa seats during recently held Lok Sabha polls.
