Congress to 'expose' BJP through mass outreach campaign in MP

The Congress plans to take out a 'rath' (chariot) in each district of the state to distribute pamphlets among the people and to hold meetings at weekly market places.

BHOPAL: To counter Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' ahead of the Assembly polls, the state Congress unit is planning to launch a mass outreach programme in all the districts.

The Congress plans to take out a 'rath' (chariot) in each district of the state to distribute pamphlets among the people and to hold meetings at weekly market places, party sources said.

State Congress unit president Kantilal Bhuria's core team is these days busy collecting posters and other publicity material to be circulated by way of the raths, they said.

Along with the raths, films will also be shown targeting some ruling BJP leaders who have courted controversy or have been allegedly involved in criminal activities, including former finance minister Raghavji, sources added.
