Congress to ally with NCP for forthcoming elections: Patangrao Kadam

JALNA: Maharashtra's rehabilitation and forest minister Patangrao Kadam said today that the Congress as well as the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) would be allies for the forthcoming elections and there would possibly be changes in some seats of Lok Sabha constituencies.

Kadam said that the government would extend all possible assistance to farmers who lost their crops due to excessive rainfall, claiming that it had allotted Rs 500 crore to such farmers.

Kadam said that reservations would be extended to the Maratha community without disturbing the present pattern of reservations.
