New Delhi: A Congress delegation, led by former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid, on Friday attended a condolence meeting hosted by the Iranian embassy here to mourn the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei.

"On behalf of the Indian National Congress, Shri Salman Khurshid, Chairperson, Foreign Affairs Department, AICC, led a delegation to express their deepest condolences on the passing of Grand Ayatollah Imam Ali Khamenei to the Supreme Leader's Representative to India, Ayatollah Dr. Abdul Majeed, and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to India, Dr. Mohammad Fathali. He was accompanied by Shri Pawan Khera, Shri Hasan Ahmed, former MLA, and other INC colleagues," said Congress in a post.
