New Delhi: Congress on Tuesday sought to taunt BJP after its leaders held a meeting with a visiting delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) here a day earlier and asked whether BJP representatives raised the contentious issues, including the border row and Beijing's reported support to Pakistan during the recent conflict.

Congress also referred to BJP alleging that the main Opposition party had signed an MoU with the Chinese. "We have no problem with any political party meeting or engaging in dialogue with a political party from another country, but we do have a problem with BJP's hypocrisy, pretence and deceit. For years, BJP kept shouting that Congress had signed an MoU, and now they themselves are holding meetings," said Congress spokesman Pawan Khera.

Incidentally, CPC has formal fraternal ties with four Indian political parties - BJP, Congress, CPI-M and CPI - and interactions among them do take place routinely during visits from both sides.
