Congress steps up attack on Arunachal CM Pema Khandu
Congress has strongly criticized Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu. They state his refusal to step down despite corruption allegations is an insult. This action disrespects the Supreme Court, the people of Arunachal Pradesh, and India...

SC had in April ordered a preliminary CBI inquiry into charges that public work contracts worth about ₹1,270 crore were awarded between 2015 and 2025 to firms allegedly linked to members of Khandu's family.
Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh posted in X, "BJP has clearly decided to brazen it out in Arunachal Pradesh... This is an insult to the Supreme Court, to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, and to the Constitution of India." The state BJP leadership defended Khandu and said the party stood by him and there was no question of a leadership change.
