Congress stalwart 6-time MLA Ajay Singh Yadav in fray again
Hoping to script an electoral history by winning from his bastion for the seventh time in a row, Yadav and his family members are leaving no stone unturned.

An old political warhorse, Yadav has won assembly polls from the seat on the party ticket from 1989 to 2009.
Hoping to script an electoral history by winning from his bastion for the seventh time in a row, Yadav and his family members are leaving no stone unturned.
All members of his family including 86-year-old mother Shanti Devi; wife Shankutala Yadav; son Chiranjeev Rao, former president of the Haryana Youth Congress'; Chiranjeev's wife Anushka Rao, daughter of RJD supremo and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, and his two married sisters-- Nirmal Yadav, former Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, and Meenakshi Devi-- are canvassing for him.
55-year-old Yadav is also the incharge of the campaign committee of Haryana Congress.
His terms with Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda soured over alleged lopside development of the state.
Belonging to the Yadav community in Southern Haryana, he had resgined as the Power Minister refusing to contest polls under Hooda, but was later persuaded by the party high command to take back his resignation.
