Congress should introspect instead of criticising Budget 2014: Ravi Shankar Prasad
BJP also said the budget is a document of "hope" for the future roadmap of the country as it covers all regions and sections in society.

The ruling party also said the budget is a document of "hope" for the future roadmap of the country as it covers all regions and sections in society and charged the Congress with pursuing a policy of how to divide what was available than creating of new.
"It is a comprehensive budget. It is an agenda for India's renewal," senior BJP leader and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said brushing aside its criticism by the opposition.
"Congress will criticise the Budget. We honour their comment but they are doing so done so without doing any homework. It will be better if they introspect as to how they were reduced to 44 instead," he suggested.
"The Congress party has more declaration, less deed and more of misdeed. In our government we have declaration and the determination for implementation based on good governance.
"The politics of Congress party mainly has been concerned as to how the bread shall be distributed and how will the number of bread grow has been the least of its priorities. That is their mindset," he said.
On the contrary, Prasad said the BJP believes that the distribution of bread will be easier when the number of bread growers increases.
Lauding the first Budget of the new BJP-led government of Narendra Modi, he said, "It is a document of new resurgent India and a document of hope for the future roadmap."
He said the Budget is concerned about digital India as well as rural India which is its basic theme.
Prasad said there is a difference between the BJP and other parties as the party firmly believes that genuine equity can come only upon the roadmap of growth.
"We have given a turnaround roadmap of the country's development in this budget," he said.
Brushing aside criticism of the Congress and Left that the budget is aimed at capital markets, Prasad said, "This budget is a document for capital market renewal, rural renewal and urban renewal."
