Congress says Rahul Gandhi will hold two rallies in Maharashtra
Ending the suspense, the Congress has finally confirmed that its Vice-President Rahul Gandhi would be holding two rallies in poll bound Maharashtra. Rahul will be holding a rally at Mahad in Raigad and Ausa in Latur district on October 8th. Congress leaders said that as of now these are the only two rallies that Rahul would be holding in the state.

There was much interest in whether the Congress Vice- President would be holding rallies after the party’s debacle in the Lok Sabha polls. Most Maharashtra Congress leaders who used to earlier fall over each other to invite Rahul during the earlier polls are now shunning him and have not invited him to campaign. The BJP on the other hand has made arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hold 24 rallies in the state.
