NEW DELHI: The Congress on Thursday was cautious in its reaction to the judgement of the Delhi High Court legalizing gay sex among consenting adults, saying it is between the court and the government.

"It is between the court and the government and the party has nothing to do with it," party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed said soon after the court pronounced the landmark judgement.

Last week, at the AICC briefing, Ahmed had said that the Congress does not have any view on this matter and there has been no discussion in the party on the issue.
