Congress raising Gadkari issue to divert attention from scams: BJP

JAIPUR: BJP Secretary Kirit Somaiya today said Congress was highlighting the issue of BJP President Nitin Gadkari's company's dealings to divert attention of people from their scams.

"Gadkari's issue is related to the Companies Act but Congress was making it a big issue in a bid to divert the attention of the people from scams committed during UPA government," he told reporters.

Somaiya sought an explanation from UPA government and Rajasthan government for allegedly favouring Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra in the purchase of huge lands in Bikaner region before declaring the area solar power zone.
