Congress protests inclusion of Dinanath Batra's books in school reading

Chandrakant Srivastva, Congress leader in Vadodara Municipal Corporation, and Narendra Ravat, city unit chief, led the protest.

VADODARA: Congress workers today held a demonstration here, protesting Gujarat government's decision to introduce books written by Dinanath Batra as supplementary reading in the schools.

Chandrakant Srivastva, Congress leader in Vadodara Municipal Corporation, and Narendra Ravat, city unit chief, led the protest.

"This is an attempt to ensure teaching of RSS's principles to the children," alleged Srivastava.

Protesters also burnt a copy of a book written by Batra.
