Congress names 28-member campaign committee for Jammu and Kashmir polls

NEW DELHI: Congress today constituted a 28-member campaign committee under the leadership of senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad for poll-bound Jammu and Kashmir.

Janak Raj Gupta, Madan Lal Sharma, Thakur Hari Singh, Jehangier Mir, Muzaffar Parrey are among the members of the committee.

Congress is going it alone in the elections being held close on the heels of the Lok Sabha polls in which it fared poorly.
