Congress MPs Kumari Selja & Ambika Soni give up their bungalows

Congress MPs Kumari Selja and Ambika Soni have finally given up their Lutyens’ Delhi ministerial bungalows. While Selja vacated her 7 Motilal Nehru Road bungalow on September 15, Soni has time till October 10 to move out of her 22 Akbar Road house. Both the former ministers had been resisting the directorate of estates’ attempts to accommodate them in a lower notch bungalow.

PM Modi’s annual interactions with school children ahead of Teachers’ Day has already created quite a buzz. The PM could be interacting with school goers on the national stage very soon again. The Smriti Irani-led HRD ministry is hosting a national level competition of performing arts, Kala Utsav, in December and it is learnt that all efforts are on to invite the PM to give away the prizes after the grand finale.
