Congress MP R. Sudha writes to Amit Shah alleging gold chain theft in Lutyens' Delhi

Congress MP R. Sudha on Monday wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah alleging that her gold chain was snatched in the heart of the national capital earlier in the day and urged him to ensure swift action against the culprit, news agency ANI reported.

Sudha, the Lok Sabha MP from Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu, said the incident took place near the Poland Embassy in the high-security Chanakyapuri area of Lutyens’ Delhi.

In her letter to the Home Minister, Sudha claimed she sustained injuries during the incident and asked Shah to direct the authorities to trace and arrest the accused at the earliest.
