Congress MLA Ravindra Reddy to support TDP candidate for general elections

KADAPA: Former minister and sitting Congress MLA from Mydukur assembly constituency D L Ravindra Reddy instructed his followers to support Telugu Desam Party (TDP) nominee P Sudhakar Yadav for the coming elections, sources said.

Reddy who has been elected six times as MLA from the Mydukur constituency, held a meeting with his supporters at Duvvuru on Thursday and advised them to work for the victory of TDP candidate Sudhakar Yadav wholeheartedly and urged them to extend complete support to the TDP.

The former minister who had maintained suspense over extending support for sometime, finally announced his stand to support the TDP overlooking the Congress candidate's claims.

Sources also revealed that the former minister had assured his supporters that the TDP candidate would extend his full co-operation to the Congress cadre.
