Rajasthan Assembly adjourned till 12:30 PM within nine minutes of convening after protest by Opposition members demanding resignation of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Assembly was today adjourned till 12:30 PM within nine minutes of convening after protest by Opposition members demanding resignation of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje over the Lalit Modi issue.

After the Question Hour commenced at 11 AM, members of opposition Congress waved posters with various slogans written on them to press for their demand of the chief minister's resignation.

They protested in the well of the House and shouted slogans despite the Speaker stating that he would listen to their demands later.

The Speaker called the listed questions and the minister Kalicharan Saraf gave his reply.

After the minister's reply on the first listed question, Speaker Kailash Meghwal adjourned the House till 12.30 PM as Congress members continued their protest.
