Congress leader Rajesh Mishra hits out at Narendra Modi
VARANASI: Congress leader and former MP Rajesh Mishra today challenged BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, saying the Gujarat Chief Minister wouldn't win if he contested from Varanasi in the Lok Sabha.

"BJP contests elections playing the communal card. Even if Narendra Modi contest elections from Varanasi, he may not win as the people of the temple city have understood the communal face of BJP and will ensure his defeat," Mishra said.

Claimed that there was no Modi wave in the country, he said if such a thing were there, Aam Aadmi Party would not have won 28 seats in Delhi.

Mishra said that all hue and cry was made in Delhi against Congress but AAP performed better proving that there was no wave of BJP in the country.

Mishra alleged that Modi's upcoming rally in Varanasi on December 20 is backed by corporate lobbyists.
