NEW DELHI: Congress’ Lok Sabha chief whip Jyotiraditya Scindia has said he has filed breach of privilege notices against BJP MPs Virendra Kumar and Manohar Untwal for “levelling false charges against him by projecting him as anti-Dalit” in the Lok Sabha.

“My image stands tarnished,” he said. The Congress MP said he has also filed a defamation case against another BJP MP, Nandkumar Singh Chauhan, for levelling the same charges against him outside the House. Scindia said if their allegations are found to be true, then he would quit as the member of the House and demanded that if the BJP MPs failed to prove their allegation, then they should quit.
