Congress activists today held protest against the alleged anti-farmer policies of the Centre at Gandhi Chowk. The protest was led by Mata Prasad Vaishya.

AMETHI: Congress activists today held protest against the alleged anti-farmer policies of the Centre at Gandhi Chowk here.

The protest was led by incharge of Amethi assembly segment Mata Prasad Vaishya.

Some of the Congress leaders raised slogans against the BJP-led Narendra Modi government and held placards with slogans 'Stop politics of revenge', 'Take back cancellation of Food Park', 'Don't cheat people of Amethi,' written on them.

They even burnt the effigy of the Prime Minister during the protest.
