Congress has become issueless: Prakash Javadekar
Javadekar termed the accusations of DDCA's "financial irregularities" on Jaitley "baseless" and said the Congress has become "issueless".

Javadekar said that the accusations do not mean anything and since the political base of Congress is shrinking, it is everyday coming out with one demand or the other.
"Congress has today become issueless. They do not have any issue. Their political base is shrinking. Because of that, due to despair they come out with a demand everyday," Javadekar told reporters.
"The accusations are baseless. They do not mean anything. The demand is illogical. This is Congress rubbish," Javadekar said.
In a further escalation of the confrontation between the opposition party and the government, Congress today demanded Jaitley's resignation over alleged "gross financial irregularities" in Delhi's cricket body DDCA when he headed it from 1999 to 2013.
Congress claimed that a committee constituted by Delhi government has found "gross financial irregularities" in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) during that period. The party has also sought setting up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to go into the issue.
BJP has hit out at the Congress saying it was using diversionary tactic to "cover up" its corruption and accused it of forming an alliance of like-minded parties to "protect" the corrupt.
