"Since very important legislations were to be taken up in Parliament, they did not want the House to run smoothly, this was their strategy," Goyal said. They refused to heed repeated requests of the Speaker and the Chairman and insulted them, he said.

"Congress and its allies are intrinsically against the interests of women and backward classes. Whenever the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes any step to empower backward classes and women, they are pained because Congress and Left are always against their empowerment," he said.
