NEW DELHI: Congress today sought strictest possible action against black money holders as a fresh list of unaccounted money holders abroad including some party leaders made waves.

"The party would like strictest possible action against black money holders," party spokesman Ajoy Kumar told reporters when asked that the reports also speak of names of a few Congress leaders.

He said that the government should carry out an impartial probe to unearth the black money and fulfill its promise of Rs 15 lakh in bank account of every Indian.

His remarks came on a day when government said it will probe all the new cases and take the assistance of a whistle blower to get all the names of Indians with HSBC accounts in Switzerland and other places, even as the SIT decided to widen its probe.
