Addressing a public meeting at Namrup in Assam, the PM accused Congress of encouraging 'anti-national' activity of infiltrators. "Illegal infiltrators are closer to them as they strengthen their vote banks. Congress is more concerned about votes, power and governments than the pride of Assamese identity. Modi on Saturday alleged: "In Bengal and Assam, Congress supported infiltrators. It conspired to change the demography of Assam."
